Cat Leaf Springs II

Hi Again,

Thanks to everyone for your insights on the CAT leaf
springs.  It seems the consensus is they are too
stiff.  Would they be too soft if a leaf was removed? 
If that might work, which leaf should be removed?  Has
anyone tried this? What do y'all think?
