Hello, I'm having a very tough time finding this unit; part number TT 6812/00
if I'm not mistaken.
Even Smiths/GB Instruments and some of their distributors are scratching their
heads. They quote part numbers that "sound close," but I've learned my lesson
installing locally purchased senders that still jump the gauge off the map
within a minute of a cold start.
Could anyone assist me in sourcing this sender, or a suitably calibrated
substitute? Would a 289 Cobra application work fine?
Or do I raise the white flag and buy a new gauge/sender?
