As for the age of these tires. Look for a small oval (1/4-1/2") on the sidewall. The last digit in the series of #'s in this oval should be the year of manufacture. I'm sure there is a way to determine the difference between 1977, 87 and 97 for example, but I don't remember what it is. I'll bet there are Tigers running out there with 1980's tires. In fact mine are 89's or 90's. I think of that sometime when the foot gets heavy. Mark L. |
