With all this discussion about a proposed purchase, it seems to me it might 
be easier to pass on this car and find one with a standard tranny.  Of course 
if this auto is at a steal price then it might be worth the effort.  The 
point is we aren't talking about a vehicle that is extremely scarce.  There 
are choices.  Mark L.
