I would advise against applying urethane or varnish over oiled teak. While
the initial appearance may look nice, the finish will eventually loose
adhesion and lift from the underlying teak. Also, teak is a naturally oily
wood and for the same reason, you should remove the surface oils with an
acetone wipe down before applying any finish.
