Jim,
Sounds like the rubber and rear window came either from CAT or Victoria British.
Even though a CAT member and fan, this particular window did not fit the hard
top. Maybe later versions do.
Sunbeam Specialties has rubber and rear window that fits. I have heard he is no
longer carrying the quarter window rubber, but don't know for sure. I have used
these parts and they are first rate quality. Rick stands behind everything he
sells.
Curt, at Classic Sunbeam also lists rear window rubber, and window in his
catalog. Since I haven't used these parts from him, I can't personally speak
from
experience, but he has an excellent reputation for honesty, good quality, and
is a
fine person.
IMHO, I would never buy ANYTHING from VB again. I have bought material from
them,
and it was never right. The owner stands behind everything he sells too. So far
behind that he is out of sight. I know he accepts returns, but the problem is he
gets a lot of them, and you can't talk to anyone but an order taker,.
My 2 pence.
