PCV connection??

Group,

I have a question on the Tiger I have been working on.

The PCV hose is connected to a "T" connector with one end running the intake 
manifold vacuum fitting and the other end runs to the brake booster vacuum 
input.

Why would you connect it this way?  Should I connect it to the carb. PCV 
connection?

Any help would be appreciated.
