I had another "Q boat": a '65 Riviera Gran Sport. 425 ci with factory dual 4 barrels. Have a framed Buick ad somewhere in a box in my garage out of a Life magazine of the time that described a Q boat as a WW II merchant ship with hidden guns. It certainly was a sleeper, especially 20 years later when I was still driving it (inherited it from my parents the day I turned 16). It's ability to accelerate also far exceeded it's ability to turn or stop. Derrick |
