We won't know until 8:30 PM eastern, 5:30 PM pacific time whether Dick is
parting with it or not. So set your VCR's just in case you don't get home in
time to see the fun.

Hey, listers:
I was watching the "Goodwood Festival of Speed" a couple of nights ago on
"Speedvision" when a commercial came on for some upcoming programs. Lo and
behold, there is an auction being televised on Thursday night, 11/16, and
in it is one of the three Tiger Le Mans cars. Now, I'm not in the loop
with all you guys on the west coast so I don't know for sure whose car this
might be, but there's obviously only three possibilities. I know it's not
Syd Silverman's car because it is still here in Oklahoma City in the care
of John Hardin, a local vintage racer who just happens to stable and
prepare Syd's racers for him to drive at all the big events. I don't think
it's the car in England, although I wouldn't know for sure. That leaves
Dick Barker's car. Could it be that he is parting with this jewel?
Just curious,
Andy Walker
