Tym,
I bought a transdapt spin on filter that I used to adapt to my situation. It
was $ 65 Canadian and had outlets on both sides I spun the unit on until
tight and then filed it until I could get it oriented in the right direction
by spinning it on further and further. I ground clearance into the top of
the adaptor until it cleared my headers. As now pipe plugs would not work I
then took it to a local welding shop for $30 Can and had one side welded up.

Or you can Buy a unit from Dale A. for $150 USD.

                I'm using CAT headers on my 302.
                I'm using a remote oil filter.  My problem is I'm using an
