Fluid/Clutch

Tigers,
I'm using a McLeod hydraulic throw out bearing with the original
slave cylinder.  Can anyone tell me what kind of fluid I should use.
The top of the cylinder says to use on "Girling ......." But since that
was 1966, I wonder if there's something else.
