Here are a couple of pictures I just took of my set-up. And
the license plate holes are directly behind the lights. There
are no valance holes above, or below, these.
You may not have had your car described as "a dark spot on the
pavement", but the yuppies have BIG SUV's accounting for 80%
of all the cars on the road, and that is how they see (or
rather don't see) our little buggies. If it's not another
SUV, or larger, it's not worth noticing.
Now, I'm sure you Southern boys have your fair share of
Pick-Em-Ups, and big semi's, but those are competent drivers,
not Soccer Moms who park in Compact shopping mall spaces.
