Mark, I set mine up in vice. Using old sockets, use one the same diameter as the pin as a pusher and one on the other side as a receiver. The receiver socket should be large enough internally for the pin to slide into. Hope I'm doing a decent job of describing the process, because it becomes quite simple this way.
