fuel line routing

i know the list has talked about this before but i can not find it. i am
using the summit racing 6-15 psi pump and braided fuel line. how is it
supposed to be routed. every way i trt to route the line it comes close to
the exhaust. BTW what is routed throught the hole in the x frame, not the
drive shaft tunnel?
