Chris,
Never ever, ever ever ever cut the floor of a tiger, but if you do the best
alternative to keep a nice edge with minimal warping is to use a plasma arc
cutter. Another option would be a panel cutter air hammer with the three
pronged blade. It has two prongs on top with one that drops down and will
cut a 1/8" ribbon of steel from the floor. An air hammer will run you about
$30 and will probably come with the blade. When new the blade works very
well but will require a minor amount of hammer and dolly work after cutting
but will leave a nice clean edge unless there is any double panels to cut
through. If you need to cut through 2 layers do the dual layer areas with a
cutoff saw first and then complete with the panel cutter. The plasma cutter
leaves a pretty nice edge but cuts similar to a cutting torch and will
require a significant amount of cleanup to get the edge nice.
