Duncan,

Your windshield 'rake' is to far aft.  It is corrected with rubber tapered shims
between the windshield frame and the windshield/body rubber.  These parts are
located near the last bolt(s) on either side and are easily lost when tearing 
out
the cracked goods and replacing the seal.  These were manually selected by the
factory to align the windshield to match the 'vent' windows.
