Chris,
Your brake light switch is NOT a mechanical type linked to a pedal. It is
hydraulically actuated by brake line pressure. The switch is located on the
multi-junction steel hydraulic line block mounted low on your inside right front
fender panel in a forward location. Trace the brake lines, they all lead to
this
block, or a brake.
