Pete A battery will discharge when placed on the bare ground. Somehow a minute connection is made between the positive post and the ground resulting in a slow draw. Result is a dead battery over time. Best to take the battery inside where it won't freeze. Makes a great paper weight for your coffee table. Dave Johnson |
