Hi Listers,
I have the original 260 in my car with the LAT option cam and 465 Holley
with the F4B and dual point FOMOCO distributor. I need to know what the gap
is on the points on a dual point distributor with the HIPO cam. Also, what
do I replace my points with? Have the regular parts stores in the area, but
I know how these guys are around here. I need to know what parts I need
before I ask them. While I am asking, do all the specs remain the same so
far as timing and dwell etc. when running these LAT options or did some of
the tune-up specs change. I know valve settings may change but what about
the normal things like timing, point settings, spark plug gap, etc. Finally,
does anyone know what the vacuum reading should be at when running the LAT
option with the solid lifter cam and 465 Holley with the F4B? Thanks to all
those on the list who help us lost souls out here in our time of need.
