Yes, this is true.  But...if you really want to get technical about it, the
15" wheels were an "option only" on K-code Mustangs, since they came
standard with the "special handling package."  The 15" wheel option for
these cars was only offered until August of 1964 when low profile 14" tires
were introduced*.  Again, if you want to get techinical about it, the ONLY
early Mustang offered with 15" wheels as standard equipment was none other
than the '65 Mustang GT350 and the early '66 GT350's.  Now that the record
is straight, I'll will step down from my soapbox.
