I seem to remember reading something about mixing silicon and conventional fluid. Don't do it. I don't remember the details, but the deal was that the additives in one type screw up the additives in the other type, so you don't get the benefits of either. So start with a completely dry system if you are changing. I think I sent something to this list a couple years back about this, so maybe that Listquest tool on Norman' site could dig it up. Stu |
