Bill,

Having ground down the blade myself in the past, I would HIGHLY recommend
taking it to a competent machine shop and letting them do the work. You
only need to take about 3\8 of an inch off, but the machine shop will insure
that they take the minimum off and hopefully keep the blade balanced. An
unbalanced blade is asking for future problems from your water pump and is
just plain a dangerous proposition.

Regards,

Allan

hi folks, i recently purchased a six bladed steel fan for my tiger before
knowing the correct diameter of 14 inches. needless to say, when i tried to
install my 15 inch version, it hit the rack housing. i notived however,
that the amount of clearence required did not seem to be great. my question
is can the 15 inch blade be ground to fit? if the elusive 14 inch is the
answer, does anyone know where i can get one? thanks, bill
