I don't know if it is the same car,  but many moons ago, this brave see
magazine article, maybe from Motor Trend or other similar comsumer rag
with Mercedes 280SL(pagoda series car) and Ford small block installed,
probably in the 1970s.

You think theres no room to work around your Tiger engine compartment,
the MB looked like a pour and cure job, if I ever saw one.
