Jeeez, ya got me there. I thought all Tigers had the velcro along the
cantrails over the side windows! I checked the couple of books I have
and nothing is said about velcro vs cable.

This sounds like a real good idea to me. I don't think the aluminum wire
we stuffed in there the other day will last too well... I've already
orded a new cable from SS which should arrive tomorrow. This will ensure
that I actually have the right length cable. Assuming that the cable
sheath I take off is the same length as the one I put on, I will build a
new stainless wire insert for it.
