It certainly looks nice in the photo. So that's the famous Candy Apple Red.
Now, I suppose to be absolutely correct, the car should have been painted
the original color first, and then the Candy Apple Red applied kind of
quick and dirty on top. Seriously, I can imagine it was difficult to find
answers to a lot of questions about just how the car was when Miles did it.
Not too many who saw it left around, and probably not nearly as much photos
and documentation available like Dick has for the Coupe and without which,
the restoration could not have been nearly as "correct". I guess both cars
will be at SUNI in July.
