Hi there,
I have done all kinds of rear spring and shock modifications to my MK1 to
try and get the wheel hopp to a minimum, all to no avail. About a month
ago I was leaving my big brothers house and got on it for the croud and
ziing severe wheel hopp helped the fan snag the strap on my Paul R
radiator and lunched the core. That was it for me, I promply called Dan
Walters and ordered his latest version of torque arm. (single large
bushing up front) I installed it Saturday and removed the traction masters
and panhard rod. I NOW HAVE ZERO WHEEL HOPP!!!!. For those of you whose
tiger chatters when taking off from a light or have wheel hopp when
getting on it I give my highest recomendation to Dan's torque arm. I have
spent lots of money over the years on car goodies and this is the first
thing I have ever installed that fit the first time, every hole lined up
perfect and it was a piece of cake to install, I did it one handed as well
as I have stiches in my right hand from a work injury last week. I am also
right handed. I did some blasting around in the car after the installation
and the car flat hooks up! So in closing, if your car has wheel hopp and
you don't mind running something non stock try the torque arm it really
works!!!
Thanks Dan!
