Dick,
I know your car was one of the earliest built, but I can assure you that by the
time (Feb., 1965) mine was built there was a rear license plate holder and
lights. If they didn't have these, even in the first Alpines, they wouldn't
have
been allowed in the country, much less California.
My bracket/lights, mounted under bumper now, were stock, and originally came
screwed to the trunk.
