I was only gone most of the day and there's quite a stack of mail!!
Regarding the position of the fan, I believe I was told a long time ago
that it should stick about 1/3 the way into the shroud. I think I've read a
posting to this list that it's the other way around, 1/3 out, 2/3 in. My
intuition says it's better the first way, but in any case, a whole lot more
than 1/4" behind the shroud.
