You say NASA, I say NACA...

I think the NACA air intake shape is named for the National Advisory
Committee for Aeronautics, predecessor of NASA, and it’s characterized
by its "innie" bottle shape, designed for low drag.

My understanding is that NACA historians don’t like it mis-identified as
NASA. Boy, just can’t escape politics, can we?
