     Wasn't he busted for messing around with an under age girl?  What was the 
     whole story?  I loved his writing  and I seem to remember he won some kind 
     of Hemmingway award.

The loss of Satch Carlson was a very sad day indeed! Autoweek will never be 
the same. If anyone knows of anywhere he might be writing I would be 
interested.
