     I wasn't planning to put skis in the racks, just use them for lifting. 
     Mount the first rack somewhere near the front, and the second would go 
     part, or most of the way down the back window.  The gutters go there, 
     too, you know.   You could fiddle the positions around to get the 
     balance and weights to work out.
