The idea of a dual system with a brake bias adjuster (dial on the inside
would be sweet!) is the Ultimate way to go. For those of us who "Prefer"
the rears to lock first, an adjuster like this would be fantastic on cars
where this is NOT the normal brake action. There are NO perfect setups when
it come to brake bias settings. You want different things for different
people, and driving styles. That's way virtually every Professional race
car has driver adjustable braking bias control inside the cockpit, and they
will adjust them as the track conditions change. This is very common on the
Indy car road circuits. Although they have a unique problem that none of us
will ever experience. Huge amounts of Down force on the wheels, so their
braking ability changes with speed. On roads circuits, you'll see them lock
inside fronts occasionally when going slow, but they wont at speed where
they can brake even harder...Their perfect brake bias changes constantly as
their speed changes, so they set it for a compromise somewhere in between,
the ones that do it wrong, pick up their suspension parts off the track
after they "meet" the wall..

The closest thing I have seen in normal cars to this is the adjustable
system the Audi Quattro's use. where you can disable their anti lock
system...
