Here is the shipping process and cost for a stripped down crossmember,
according to Mailboxes Inc. It would be placed in a golf bag carton,
which weighs 15lbs. and costs $16.50. The crossmember weighs 36lbs.
Shipping costs to California for the 51 lbs. package would be $58.81,
for a grand total of $75.31 in postage costs.
I am posting this from work, so please respond to my home E-mail
address, which is
johnson@ids.net
Thanks, Al Johnson
