Tim, and Tigers,

Having been as underwhelmed by the volume of response to my screw count
question, as I was to meet Head liner question, I did the only thing left to
me. I counted them myself.

All told, I had 342 previously chromed fittings, sheet metal screws, washers,
nuts, cups, Phillips, Pan, Slot, Hex,machine screw type devices. I found a
local Marine supply dealer (retail to small boat owners) who stocked nearly
every one of them. Some I had to buy a little longer to cut down with an
electric wire connector utility tool with threaded shear cutters. Total price,
including tax, was $32.00.

Nothing is being replaced that wasn't chromed, or plated to begin with, and now
the heads aren't going to rust where some ham hand has broken the plating in the
phillips head or slot (me).

The service was great. They helped me label a poly bag for each group, and find
all the stuff. Parts were by the piece, not bag of 3 or box of 100. General
price was about $0.05 each. That's a better deal than I got when getting prices
per box of 100.
