First, I am far, far from an expert in Tigers, much less "maker's
marks", but it occurs to me that "Standard Pressed Steel" was the
company that stamped out the parts for the Tiger, the Alpine, the Volvo
P1800E, the Jensen, and mabe a dozen other "builders".

Has anyone checked to see if an Alpine has the same label, as it's parts
came from Standard Pressed Steel too.

As I've heard it said, "just asking."
