Take one for a drive, you might change your mind. The 4cyl is nice,
the 6cyl is nicer. When you compare the three new roadsters, Porsche,
Mercedes and BMW, the BMW is closest in spirt(and price) to the MG and
Triumph. Besides, the BMW has non-opening vent windows just like an
Alpine or Tiger.

A rather funny discussion on the Triumphs list, about BMW Z3 as a
spirital sucessor to the LBC's we love. I thought I'd share this
comment, it's good for a chuckle1
BMW (Bubba Motor Works) in South Carolina USA assembles the Z3 from
components shipped in primarily from Germany- not hardly an LBC.
