Item Subject: Another Harrington Tiger
At SUNI 1 there were three "Harrington Tigers": The one and only
original, plus two fakes from England. These had been cobbled
together out of Harrington Alpine donor cars. One even had Series 3
fins. I suspect it was a fake that was sold. 3000 pounds just isn't
enough for it to have been the real one, and I'm sure the California
gang would have heard if Bill was selling it.

In the current issue of Thoroughbred and Classic Cars is an auction
result where a 1965 Harrington Tiger sold for over 3000 pounds. Could
there be more than one or is it a fake? The auction house was Brooks.
