Bob,
Somehow the rest of my message was eaten by the e-mail worm. The rest
read something like:
Most sizes are stated from bead to bead. Tire diameter across bead seat
of wheel (14", 15", etc). Wheel width, between bead seats on wheel (5",
5 1/2" etc). Offset, distance from tire (bead seat) centerline to wheel
mounting plane ( - 1/2 ", - 2", + 2.5", etc.)
These measurements can then be used, with knowledge of wheel well size,
brake drum mounting surface location, fender openings, and tire profile
(225x60-13), to tell what will fit what. Of course spring sag and
steering lock are also considered.
What is it you meant by "rear spacing", and how is it determined?
Steve
