 John,
Simple answer, when you remove the Tiger VIN plate un-original rivets,
just don't paint the car until AFTER you've installed the "original"
rivets on the Tiger plate. 

See, when you wan't a quick answer to larceny, just ask a bunch of cops
or crooks. One of them has got to have the answer.
