As someone already mentioned, proceed with caution when drilling (
plastic ) lenses.
You can improve your chances of success if you "lip " the drill bit.
This involves taking the drill bit and intentionally dulling the cutting
edges with a stone ( the type you would use for sharpening a knife ) .
By stoning a
___ small___ flat on the cutting edge, you reduce the tendency for the
drill to grab. This also works great when drilling brass and copper. It
certainly helps if you have spare drill bits to do this to.....as it ruins
them for drilling "regular" materials.
