The photo of the drag car you saw had a fiberglass hardtop installed on it,
but not a factory top. True the Harrington Tiger is basically a tiger with a
funny top, but one commisioned by Rootes, like the Harrington Alpine
variants.
When we were in Colorado a certain gent showed up with two more " Harrington
Tigers" that you can find pictured in Norm's book the the chapter
appropriately titled "Wooden Nickels".
Bill V's Tiger is the one that is pictured in "Tiger, The Making of a Sports
Car". Bill V. purchased the car from Steve Strong in Great Britain.
