Hi group,
Well I have decided that I have had enough fun for awhile, and need to get
back into
having some other fun now that the Tiger is in a pseudo maintenance mode. I
have had
the 67 Alpine all set waiting to be the next project. After having to do a
second engine rebuild in
less than a thousand miles, I'm sort of burned out on being a mechanic. So I
have made a
conscious decision to sell the Alpine. It is a 1967 with a 1725 cc engine,
two zenith carbs. The engine
starts and runs fine with no smoke or strange noises. The water pump leaks
but that's minor. I have
an extra radiator for it. The body is straight with no dents. The hood had
some really awful green paint
on it that I just removed and am about to primer. It does have some rust
under the door panels
but not bad. Someone previously had smeared some bondo over it in an attempt
to seal it.
I recently purchased a used windshield frame to put on it as I had robbed
the one off it for the
Tiger. The seats look almost new (a little dusty) since they had been
covered with sheep skins from what
must have been the beginning. I am asking $1500 for it but that is
negotiable. It is dark blue with a vin
of B395002751. It is located in Tempe Arizona. Anyone interested can email
me at
