All;
-The bane of my wife, sitting in my garage right now is a CHROMED
rear-end from a Pontiac/Olds that was cut down and actually used in a
'60's-era front-engined top-fueler. It is just the housing, no axles
or third member. It has a jury-rigged scatter shield welded over where
the ring gear might come out of the case. Remember, in those days,
top-fuel drivers sat right over the rear-end. Kinda' rough on having
kids if one blew up. I think I used it for a lamp stand in the '70's.
-I've always wanted to see if I could match it up to somebody's
kit-car project.

I'm very interested to hear which after-market springs look stock, but not
identical to stock!!
On a related note, how easy is it to swap a Ford 9" rear into a Tiger (or an
Alpine). Their big. The Dana is plenty strong enough but it sure would be
nice to have the convenience the removable carrier has to offer.
