Funny how anyone that buys a fiberglass replica of the Speedwell bonnet
thinks they can get away with calling it a Speedwell.
The car in question belongs to Dr. Dave Jahimiak of LaCrosse. His cars are
certainly some of the fastest Sprites in the country... they are also the
most illegal. Dave's the guy that brings a gun to a fistfight.
I heard the reports from SVA Road America... that event always exhibits the
worst driving (consistently) of any event I've ever raced at. I'm not sure
whether it's lack of driver skill, lack of respect for the higher terminal
speeds at RA, or just a collection of assholes.

Also just determined I'll be back from a trip early enough to get to the

Sprints at Elkhart Lake (will miss 2 days of the Blackhawk race the previous
weekend though, and it's only 7 miles from my house &*#$!!!!). Who's going
to the Sprints?
