Never heard of such a thing before and never seen it on any Bugeye
(perhaps I'm blind!). I can imagine it being done if the panel under
the windscreen is severly distorted but, a temporary fix for leaking
under the screen is more probably a strip of black electrical insulation
tape. It was when the bonnet (hood) flew open and wrapped itself round
the widscreen and roof on mine. That 'temporary' repair lasted a good 5
years!

Subject: [Spridgets] Windscreen Seal
A YouTube series from Canada about a Bugeye restoration latest episode
addressed the windscreen to body rubber seal is supposed to be folded
backorder the windscreen. He then took piece of plastic and began
shoving the seal back under itself along the length of the windscreen.
This is the first I have heard of this. Anyone else do this with this
rubber seal? In ictures that showed the seal in Terry Horler's Original
Sprite and Midget the seal is not folded under itself. Is this a
Canadian thing?
