Hey everyone,

Now that the oppressive heat from the summer seems to have gone, I've been
able to do more work on my Sprite. New LED lights all the way around,
every possible bulb is now LED. Had to rework the Rabbit radiator
conversion, but that is all squared away. Also had to rework the throttle
connection to my DFV carb, to make a new cable mounting plate and get a
better return spring solution in place. I should have everything in place
to get the car inspected this weekend and get current registration once
again.

Then the fun begins. The paint and body work will start. In the
meantime, I'm thinking of the interior. My car is a '69 Sprite, so the
seat frame does not have accommodations for a headrest. The interior kit I
have is for 70-79, and came with headrests. Looking at pics of seat
frames, it appears that I can fabricate the piece for the frame that holds
the headrest in place. Anyone familiar with this, and has anyone tried
it? Some close up pics of a 70s Midget seat frame would help.
