Why would you call a parts supplier for technical advice? Do you call the g=
rocery store to find out how to cook and eat eggs? :-)

ailway I visited the Victoria British warehouse. Vicky Brit was just one fr=
eeway exit away from the school. I went to buy engine parts for my BN2 and w=
anted to inspect them in person before buying them. Much better that way be=
cause returning parts is such a financial drain. The difference between Mos=
s and VB was more than price and selection. When you call Moss, the sales p=
erson is somewhat to very knowledgeable about the parts they sell. When you=
call Victoria British this is not the case. Sales personnel there only kno=
w part numbers. They can only tell you if the part you want is in inventory=
or not. Most of the time the VB sales person knows nothing about British c=
ars. I'm guessing the best we get out of this aquisition is added inventory=
of parts that Moss did not sell before, at least until they run out. VB pr=
ices are gone. That being said, I have been buying a lot from Ahead4Healeys=
and AH Spares lately. Actually better prices than Moss. Moss shipping has=
gotten slower taking up to 4-5 days to be delivered using their Saver Fare.=
I seem to remember, if you ordered your parts before 3PM you got them the n=
ext day. I have received parts from Ahead4healeys in 3 days in the recent p=
ast all the way from England. Go figure. No dog in this fight, just a pers=
onal observation.
