One option is to leave the regulator in place plugs and all, gutting it of i=
nternal connections. Looks stock, easy to go back to stock for a future owne=
r ( with a new reg), takes less work and doesn't leave empty holes in the fi=
rewall.

I'm choosing an alternator with an internal regulator for the Midget. I r=
