I use paint thinner in my parts washer. Sometimes I also use kerosene for cleaning, usually in a pressure sprayer. Simple Green is strong, foul-smelling dish soap. It won't clean car parts. Neither will any of the water-based legal parts cleaning solutions. All of the good stuff is illegal. I'm working on getting some black market carb dip.
