Subject: [Spridgets] Slave Cylinder Question
One of our list members just sent me a very nice rib cage for a very
generous price. . . he also included a slave cylinder which is larger than
the one I have been using. It has a rubber type hose coming off the end.
Since I have been having trouble burning out throw-out bearings far too soon
I am wondering if this beefier slave cylinder should be the one I am using
with the rib case. . as opposed the smaller one that had originally
been used with the smooth case?
How do I convert to the larger cylinder. The smaller cylinder is a direct
connect to the metal tubing. I need a piece that would allow my metal
tubing to connect either directly into the larger opening or to the hose
that is coming off the end.
I can send a pic of the larger slave cylinder, but I am sure that most of
you know what I am talking about.
Is there a chance that the larger cylinder was used with the 1500? The rib
case is from the early 70's. . I am guessing a 72 or a bit later on. I
am totally unfamiliar with the 1500 powered cars.
I will take my answers off the air.
Thanks!
Kirk
